I had always been glad that those who folow the Goddesses had thought my city so isolated that their converts never bothered to come and make a determined attempt in persuading more to join their religion. Perhaps they thought that they would not be successful, as the Prophet has already visited twice, and while her ideas fascinate, they do not hold. The most cynical of us say that worship of the Goddesses is Dragon worship, manipulated to appeal to the Atsirian psyche.

But this group is different. They have stayed. Every day, they preach their tenets, and the crowd that gathers listens politely. And every day or two, there is a convert.

The success of a religion always relies on numbers. As long as the city remains peaceful, that is not my concern.
