It is said that Joseph Eshene has made an apology to the Queen, for the incident between him and the prophet's daughter on the Night of the Dead, and something else, it seems. An argument, most likely. By the Queen's demeanor, I doubt he is forgiven. It is ... odd, and almost unsettling, to see her in such a low mood, like a girl in need of a mother's comfort, especially after the cheery way she has conducted herself since her arrival. This is not the way I wish for her to leave.
It seems in the aftermath of this visit, that Lord Matthew has made advances in the Queen's favour. I admit that this has come as a surprise to me, but he has conducted himself impeccably, which is not something Joseph Eshene can boast. I suspect that Lady Westa will make her displeasure known once word reaches her ear.
