Marinda's birthday party was smaller than the last. More intimate. Family, close friends, and playmates. It is fascinating how quickly young children accept each other, without concern for looks or status. If only it lasted.
As for my present, Marinda was delighted at the prospect of more stories. We have been reading a little each night together, before she sleeps. She seems to share the same love of books as I and my mother before me. Perhaps it is in the blood. I look forward to the two of us creating such memories together.
