As I return to work on matters concerning Ilserna, I have also been planning a ball to celebrate my daughter's birth and continued health. Everyone of importance in Ilserna has already seen her, of course, but the arrival of a child, and my heir, is something that warrants a ball, does it not?
My greatest concern is finding a time where my sister will be able to attend. It has been years since I have last seen her, and years since she has returned home. I would dearly love for her to see her niece, and share in my joy. For a long time, she was the only woman of my blood. A family as small as ours should do all it can to maintain ties.
